Job Summary
Review work center listings to determine procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow by collaborating with supervisors. Inform personnel on methods, perform job setups, and maintain high quality standards while examining associate work for conformance to specifications. Train and mentor new employees, correct errors in methods and procedures, and document necessary modifications to set-up operations. Recommend adjustments to work standards, improve efficiency through setup reduction, and fulfill the duties of a Level III operator on requested machinery. This role requires a 2nd shift schedule (2:30 PM – 11:30 PM EDT) with initial training on the 1st shift. Candidates need 7–10 years of manufacturing experience including 3 years as a Level III operator.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- three (3) years of work-related experience as a Level III operator
- knowledge of basic math skills
- ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English
- ability to learn, problem-solve, and make decisions per work instructions and documents
- ability to communicate and work as a team member and team leader
- must be available to work during our 2nd shift hours of operation, 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM EDT
