Job Summary
Set up and operate CNC boring mills to manufacture precision components; read and interpret complex machining drawings and specifications; verify part accuracy with precision measuring instruments; monitor and adjust tool paths, speeds, and feeds; select cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job; perform routine machine maintenance; collaborate with QA to maintain high workmanship standards; maintain a clean, safe, climate-controlled production area; report to Production Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of CNC boring mill experience
- Ability to read and interpret complex machining drawings/blueprints/engineering specifications
- proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with multiple CNC controls
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and collaborative team attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, precision-driven manufacturing environment
