Job Summary
Greet clients, engage in conversations, and uncover opportunities to make product and service recommendations. Perform accurate transactions, account openings, and retail lending while following all bank policies and operational procedures. Deliver an exceptional banking experience by creating unforgettable interactions and meeting performance targets for customer satisfaction, sales, and financial wellness. Manage cash drawer, TCD, TCR, ETM, and vault responsibilities with strong business ethics and integrity. Maintain current NMLS registration to originate consumer loans, home equity, and purchase mortgages as applicable to your level. Actively participate in community outreach, volunteer initiatives, and training programs to expand skill sets and career paths.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization
- Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively
- Ability to utilize telephone systems
- Good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use
- Experience or the ability to learn core transaction system, debit card system, statement processing system, cash advance machines and any other computer programs pertinent to performing job duties
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation
- Ability to lift 25 pounds in weight
- Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite
- Maintain current registration with NMLS to originate home equity loans and lines (for UA III)
- Maintain current registration with NMLS to originate purchase mortgages (for UA IV)
