Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility; monitor and report changes in client condition; take and record vital signs when required; assist with meal preparation and feeding; perform light housekeeping and laundry; provide companionship and emotional support; assist with medication reminders; transport clients to appointments and errands as needed; follow individualized care plans and agency policies. Day, evening, night, and weekend shifts available ranging from 4 hours up to 12 hours in length. Current Texas CNA certification, CPR/BLS certification, and valid driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA certification in good standing
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within the last year

- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
