Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding while promoting comfort and dignity. Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration. Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries, and observe changes in resident condition to report to the licensed nurse. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and support residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs. Ensure rooms and common areas remain clean, safe, and organized while following infection control policies. Provide emotional support in a respectful environment and assist nursing staff with assigned duties. Requires Active CNA certification and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist with resident transfers and repositioning
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting
