Job Summary
Provide direct patient/resident care under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse in a 60-bed skilled nursing community. Perform initial and ongoing data collection on patients/residents, implement plans of care developed by the Registered Nurse, report condition changes, and ensure timely, efficient, and safe care. Demonstrate time management and prioritization of tasks; document care within established policies and procedures; support nutritional care; communicate effectively with residents, families, and the health team; and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity
- Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements
- Must be English literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred: Previous hospital or long-term care or skilled nursing experience
- CPR Certified
