Job Summary
Deliver meals, assist with personal hygiene, and transport residents while documenting food and fluid intake. Turn and ambulate residents, make beds, maintain living areas, and observe for health issues to report to the supervising nurse. Assist nurses and staff as needed while adhering to facility policies and protecting resident confidentiality. Work weekends with a current CNA certification, CPR and First Aid, and physical stamina. Required Qualifications
- A current and valid CNA certification
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills
- Good collaboration and teamwork skills
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- Keen attention to detail
- In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
- Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions
- Physical strength and stamina
- First aid and CPR certifications
- Work on weekends
