Job Summary
Provide basic care to patients and assist them in daily activities while watching for changes and reporting them to the nursing team. Collect and record information vital to patients' conditions and treatment. Complete the Basic Aide Training Course and satisfactorily pass the physical examination administered for gainful employment. Maintain a professional appearance and behavior while working with a dedicated team. Work full-time weekend days and evenings from 6 AM to 10 PM. This role serves as a first step toward a rewarding career in nursing at Miller's Health Systems, a 100% employee-owned company providing long-term, short-term, and home health care in Indiana since 1964.
Required Qualifications
- Certified in the State of Indiana
- Able to read, write, and perform simple mathematics such as addition and subtraction
- Successfully complete the Basic Aide Training Course
- To be able to satisfactorily pass the physical examination administered in behalf of gainful employment in the facility
- Professional appearance and behavior
- Able to work with a dedicated team
