Job Summary
Provide direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision, applying understanding of basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences. Assist in the provision of care for patients at St Elias Specialty Hospital within a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care. Maintain Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License within 30 days of hire and obtain National Provider BLS certification. Work full-time 36-hour weekly schedule consisting of three 12-hour day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Some college courses in nursing or therapy field
- 3 months Nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care
