Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision, applying understanding of basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences. Complete Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification and obtain National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Work full-time 36-hour weekly shifts on day shifts at Providence St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Some college courses in nursing or therapy field
- 3 months Nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care
