Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision, applying basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences to support patient needs. Maintain Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification and complete National Provider BLS within 30 days of hire. Work full-time 36-hour weekly shifts in day rotations at St Elias Specialty Hospital. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Some college courses in nursing or therapy field
- 3 months Nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care
