Job Summary
Provide resident-centered care as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a 71-bed long-term care facility. The NA delivers basic nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision, including tasks such as bathing, toileting, grooming, feeding, vital signs, transfers, range of motion, documentation, and participation in care planning. Responsibilities also include infection prevention, PPE use, meal support, housekeeping and laundry assistance, activity and recreation support, and collaboration with nursing staff to maintain resident well-being. The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to care plans, and participation in department initiatives and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
- CNA training and certification required and provided by facility
