Job Summary
The CNA provides direct, high-quality care to residents in assisted living and Memory Care neighborhoods, following Personalized Service Plans and collaborating with families and the Pearl Director. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining hydration and incontinence programs, ensuring cleanliness and safety in resident rooms and common areas, conducting routine charting, supporting wellness initiatives, and leading shifts and crossovers. The role entails supervising and guiding Resident Care Associates (RCAs) and ensuring adherence to wellness standards, regulatory requirements, and Phoenix policies. The position requires interaction with residents and families, the ability to respond promptly to call bells, and readiness to work varied shifts (including weekends and evenings). Requirements include minimum education at high school level and CNA credentials, with prior experience in elder or dementia care preferred, and strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- CNA certification or licensure (as applicable)
- High School education preferred (state requirements may apply)
- Previous experience with elders or disabled individuals preferred
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours
- Ability to provide hands-on care and support as per PSP
- Knowledge of safety procedures and infection control
- Proficiency in charting and using basic MS Office tools
- Ability to lead and train new hires
- Understanding of Personalized Service Plans (PSP) and resident rights
