Job Summary
Provide essential direct and indirect nursing care under proficient direction of a Registered Nurse, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and meeting nutritional and elimination needs. Promptly answer call lights, report patient status changes to the nurse, and document vital signs, input/output, and other care findings. Maintain confidential patient charts and assist with delegated tasks supervised by the nurse. Communicate concerns regarding hazards or errors to the healthcare team. This role supports a Level III Trauma center with 171 beds, serving as a STEMI and stroke treatment facility within a family-friendly environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.", "Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program", "State registered CNA license
Desired Qualifications
- Six (6) months previous CNA or healthcare experience
