Job Summary
Accurately measure and record patient weights and vital signs, recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition while documenting all activities. Assist patients with hygiene, elimination, routine skin care, comfort measures, and Activities of Daily Living, maintaining privacy and infection control procedures. Support licensed nurses with specimen collection, patient turning, positioning, and transportation. Ensure unit safety, stock supplies, and perform clerical tasks. Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and demonstrate strong customer service and team skills. Requires current active CNA certification in California, AHA BLS, and ability to lift patients. Onsite at 14662 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- Current and active CNA certification in California
- AHA Basic Life Support
- Understanding of basic medical terminology
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and patient-care skills
- ability to work as part of a team
