Job Summary
Conduct delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, including performing EKGs, taking vital signs, providing basic patient care, and transporting patients. Respond appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on the scope of service of the unit. Requires California Nursing Assistant Certification License and National Provider BLS certification upon hire, with six months of hospital or post-acute CNA experience preferred. Full-time day status involves working 12-hour shifts at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in San Pedro, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Sufficient for Certification

- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of Certified Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or post acute environment
