Job Summary
Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the supervising nurse. Assist with geriatric care needs and activities of daily living according to individual care plans. Communicate and interact with residents and families in a professional, respectful, and hospitable manner. Maintain a compassionate mindset while fostering trust and good relationships within the team environment. This 2nd shift role (3pm to 11pm) requires CNA or STNA certification, strong organizational skills, and English proficiency. No registry findings for abuse or neglect are permitted. Experience in long-term or assisted living facilities is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nursing Assistants(STNAs) certification
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently
- Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language
- No finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property
- Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment
- Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility
