Job Summary
Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the supervising nurse. Assist with geriatric care needs and activities of daily living according to individual care plans. Maintain professional, respectful, and hospitable interactions while fostering good relationships with residents and families. Prioritize and organize work effectively in a team environment. This role requires CNA or STNA certification, no registry findings for abuse or neglect, and fluency in English. The position covers the first shift from 7am to 7pm on the Memory Care Floor.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nursing Assistants(STNAs) certification
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently
- Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language
- No finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property
- Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility
- A passion for working with elderly residents
