Job Summary
Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the supervising nurse. Assist with geriatric care needs and activities of daily living according to individual care plans. Communicate and interact with residents and families in a professional, respectful, and hospitable manner. Maintain a compassionate mindset while fostering good relationships within the team environment. This 1st shift (7am to 7pm) position requires CNA or STNA certification, strong English proficiency, and a clean registry. Experience in long-term or assisted living facilities is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nursing Assistants(STNAs) certification
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently
- Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language
- No finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property
- Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility
