Job Summary
Collaborates with the IDT to deliver quality patient/resident care under a licensed nurse, providing age-appropriate care and performing essential admissions/discharge tasks, room setup, equipment management, and routine delegated tasks in a geriatric/long-term care setting during night shifts (11 PM–7:30 AM) on a part-time basis. Requires CA CNA certification, BLS, and current long-term/skilled nursing nursing assistant certification; duties include patient care, documentation, safety, infection control compliance, and effective communication with patients, families, and other staff.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant course
- California Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - CA Department of Public Health -REQUIRED
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED
- Current certification as Nursing Assistant for long-term care and skilled nursing, rehab preferred
