Job Summary
Collaborates with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in delivering quality patient/resident care under the direction of a licensed nurse. Provides care with age-specific needs, supports admissions, discharge, and transfer activities, and ensures room setup and supply readiness. Requires CA CNA certification and BLS for Healthcare Professionals. Prior geriatric or acute care experience preferred. Part-time 0.5 FTE shift pattern includes 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with weekend requirements; union-represented position under SEIU-UHW. Strong interpersonal skills, documentation accuracy, and adherence to infection control policies are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant course
- California Certified Nurse Assistant - CA Department of Public Health -REQUIRED
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED
