Job Summary
Assist patients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and daily living activities. Provide basic care including changing linens, repositioning, mobility support, and serving meals while monitoring intake and output. Measure and record vital signs, document care activities accurately, and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff. Maintain patient safety through proper restraint use, infection control protocols, and fall prevention measures. Apply nonsterile dressings, ice packs, and heat treatments as directed. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Maintain regular attendance, comply with all policies, and participate in ongoing training to maintain CNA certification and BCLS.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as a CNA
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant in state of employment
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- INDCS
Desired Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting
- Knowledge of basic nursing care techniques
- Knowledge of patient hygiene
