Job Summary
CNA position in Shelby, MT operating 12-hour shifts on a swing bed unit. Delivers and assists in basic patient care under supervision, documents care provided, communicates patient needs and changes in condition, maintains patient privacy, and assists with activities of daily living. Requires Montana CNA certification and RQI (BLS) within 7 days of hire. Emphasis on teamwork, confidentiality, and adherence to Medicare regulations; includes pre-employment screening and equal opportunity commitment. Shift is variable; employed by Logan Health with standard onboarding and compliance processes.
Required Qualifications
- Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate required.
- RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.
- Possess an understanding of HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
