Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, nutrition, hydration, elimination, positioning, and restorative care. Monitor vital signs such as pulse and blood pressure, and provide assessment data on patient verbal and nonverbal responses to the certified nurse. Perform routine clerical duties, including routing patient reports, while prioritizing tasks to meet unit deadlines. Report patient status and concerns to the licensed registered nurse under their direction. Maintain unit organization and perform other assigned job-related duties.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy Certification
- Audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP
