Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant provides essential personal-care support under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene (bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, elimination needs), collecting specimens and vital signs, transporting patients, applying non-sterile dressings, performing surgical preps, and administering enemas. The role emphasizes comprehensive documentation, maintaining a clean, safe patient-care environment, and responsive communication of patient observations to the nurse. Requirements include completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant Program and current Maryland CNA certification, plus BLS/CPR. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
