Job Summary
Promote resident hygiene and comfort, distribute food and water, and assist with repositioning, transferring, and ambulating residents. Record fluid intake and output, weigh residents, document on flow sheets, and respond to call lights promptly. Perform perineal and uncomplicated colostomy care, take and record vital signs, and report all observations to the Team Leader or Nurse Manager. Make beds, keep units clean, and prepare rooms for housekeeping after discharge. Requires current NY CNA certification with Long Term Care experience a plus. Required Qualifications
- Current NY CNA Certification
- All offers of employment are conditioned on completing and passing a background and drug test
- Participating in mandatory vaccine programs (e.g., Covid-19)
- Participating in testing requirements (e.g. Covid-19, TB)
- Using designated PPE when required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Long Term Care experience a plus
