Job Summary
Restorative CNA within a Rehabilitation Center/SNF setting, joining the Rehab Therapy Team as a Wellness Instructor to deliver wellness, fitness, and exercise programs. Receives full restorative training onsite; no restorative experience necessary. Responsibilities include exclusive restorative tasks such as ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, range of motion (active and passive), dressing/grooming, and splint/prosthesis care, with a focus on minimizing less desirable CNA duties. Role supported by EnerG by Aegis wellness programs and requires CNA certification. Collaboration with the therapy team and reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation; opportunity for ongoing training, mentorship, clinical education, CEUs, and potential nationwide opportunities. Required Qualifications
- CNA Certification required
- Current CNA certification in state of practice
- High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist or similar area, preferred
