Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, provide patient care and perform selected nursing procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. Coordinate special tasks and assist the nurse where needed while collaborating with the patient care team to deliver care in accordance with the medical plan of care. Demonstrate technical competence, communication skills, and sensitivity toward hospitalized patients and their families. This full-time, temporary day shift includes 12-hour rotations with 72 hours per pay period and variable days off.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification with the CA Department of Health Services Licensing & Certification Board
- Current CPR certification
- Must demonstrate technical competence
- Must demonstrate communication skills
- Must demonstrate sensitivity for the hospitalized patient and family
- Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position
