Job Summary
Assistant Program Operations Manager in Residential Program responsible for assisting the Program Operations Manager in the overall functioning of assigned residential site(s). This role involves ensuring the physical, emotional, and medical needs of individuals are met daily; assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans and Behavior Support Plans; ensuring Human Rights are honored and monitored; assisting in coordinating relocation and vacations according to individual preferences and resources; providing Direct Care as needed; maintaining confidential records; acting as liaison with families/guardians and stakeholders; assisting in staff orientation, training, and supervision; participating in licensing compliance, QA, MAP implementation, and regulatory activities; managing administrative tasks such as staff time management, reporting, and budgets; serving as Interim Program Operations Manager when needed and acting as on-call supervisor evenings and weekends. Requires MA CNA license and associate degree in human services or related field, with strong communication and leadership skills. Is part of the Residential Division team and supports adults with developmentally disabled needs through a multidisciplinary approach.
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts CNA license
- Associate's degree in human services or related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate effective project management skills
- Ability to supervise or coordinate others in a residential setting serving developmentally disabled adults
- Ability to respond adeptly and responsibly to site and division emergencies
- Ability to safely transport individuals using an Agency and/or personal vehicle
- Ability to stay on shift until the following shift has all arrived or management has approved otherwise
- A qualifying criminal background check, driving record and a valid driver’s license
- A current copy of all required health records and TB assessments
