Job Summary
Deliver services per approved service plans, including assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and mobility. Monitor resident health status, document changes, and report promptly to the nurse. Administer medications per state regulations, record entries, and notify staff for self-administered doses. Engage residents in therapeutic programming, group activities, and individual interactions to support cognitive stimulation and socialization. Escort residents to meals and facilitate meaningful interactions. Maintain unit cleanliness, assist with laundry, and respond to emergency calls promptly. Complete orientation and ongoing in-service training programs.
Required Qualifications
- Active role in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members and professionals
- Must have completed the course for certified nursing assistant or have equivalent training or experience as required by State Regulation
- CPR and First Aide training as mandated by the State employed
- Prior experience providing direct care or the equivalent in training
- Experience in caring for seniors with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of Dementia
- Current license/certification as required by State Regulation
- Fluent in the ability to communicate in the English language, both oral and written
- Demonstrates computer literacy and familiarity with office software, including but not limited to word processing or demonstrate the ability to learn data input
- Must be available for weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience providing direct care or the equivalent in training preferred
- Experience in caring for seniors with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of Dementia is preferred
