Job Summary
Caregiver (In-Home Certified Care Aide) provides personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, shopping/errands, medication reminders, and client documentation under supervision of the Care Coordinator in the greater Boston area. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, ambulation/transport, accompanying clients on outings, following care plans, and ensuring quality home health services; prior certification as a Care Aide is preferred and CPR/First Aid training is required or willingness to obtain. Opportunities for advancement and ongoing training are offered within a competitive home health agency environment.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Care Aide Certificate or equivalent
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Ability to travel around location territory
