Job Summary
Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care facility, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance; assist with mobility, transfers, and walking; monitor changes in residents’ health and behavior and report to nursing staff; assist with feeding and ensuring proper nutrition and hydration; maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment; engage residents in social and recreational activities; document care and report concerns to medical personnel; support compassionate, resident-centered care and adhere to facility policies; team-oriented with a focus on Trinity Health Senior Communities standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility or similar setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move residents safely
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
