Job Summary
Conduct daily personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal service while adhering to dietary guidelines. Administer prescribed medications under the direction of licensed care providers and maintain accurate records of resident observations and vital signs. Manage laundry operations and address resident needs promptly with empathy, ensuring strict compliance with safety rules and infection control measures. Participate in ongoing training to improve caregiving skills. This essential personnel role requires staff to be present as scheduled regardless of weather or catastrophic events.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of state competency exam for CNA certification
- Ability to move and assist residents
