Job Summary
Facilitate a safe, secure environment for patients, families, and providers by completing delegated duties under direct supervision of the bedside RN and charge nurse. Maintain a hazard-free, clean environment while ensuring clear communication of patient needs. Complete required training including the CNA certification, Medical Terminology course, and BLS certification. Work full-time 12-hour shifts across night and day rotations in the float pool or progressive care unit.
Required Qualifications
- Completed training program for Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) or any equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience
- Completion of Medical Terminology course required or successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
