Job Summary
Facilitate a safe, secure environment for patients, families, and providers by completing delegated duties under direct supervision of the bedside RN and charge nurse. Maintain clear communication regarding patient needs and ensure the department remains a hazard-free, clean space supporting patient-focused care. Work full-time in rotating night and day shifts across multiple units including Float Pool, Progressive Care, Ortho, Surgical, Oncology, and Mother Baby.
Required Qualifications
- Completed training program for Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) or any equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience
- Completion of Medical Terminology course required or successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
