Job Summary
CNA Program Instructor (NATP) will join with the Program Coordinator to present curriculum, teach lecture and lab content, coordinate clinical training and supervision of course participants, and supervise students on units during clinical experiences. Requires RN licensure and experience in nursing-home settings, with demonstrated ability to teach adult learners via recognized teaching courses or state certification, or substantial prior teaching experience in nursing/nursing-related programs. Location: Elizabeth, NY facility; responsibilities include coordinating clinical supervision and ensuring quality instructional delivery across classroom and clinical environments.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse (RN) with at least one year of experience in a nursing home
- Ability to teach adult learners as demonstrated by: completion of a course in teaching adult learners or NYS teacher certification or two-year experience teaching nursing or nursing-related programs to adults in an approved setting or two years of experience teaching nurse aides in a residential health care facility
