Job Summary
Instructors will work with the Program Coordinator to present the curriculum, teach lecture and lab content, coordinate clinical training and supervision of course participants, and supervise students on units during clinical experiences. The role includes collaborating to deliver curriculum and ensuring clinical supervision aligned with Essex Center’s rehabilitation and healthcare program.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least one year of experience in a nursing home
- Ability to teach adult learners as demonstrated by one of: completion of a course in teaching adult learners; NYS Education Department teacher certification; two-year experience teaching nursing or nursing-related programs to adults; two years of experience teaching nurse aides in a residential health care facility
