Job Summary
Program Instructor will collaborate with the Program Coordinator to deliver curriculum, teach lecture and lab content, coordinate clinical training and supervise course participants and students during clinical experiences on units.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a registered nurse (RN)
- At least one year of nursing home experience
- Ability to teach adult learners as demonstrated by: completion of a professionally recognized course in teaching adult learners or NYS Education Department teacher's certification or two-year experience teaching nursing/nursing-related programs to adults in an academic setting approved by the state education department or two years of experience teaching nurse aides in a residential health care facility
