Job Summary
The CNA Program Instructor will co-work with the Program Coordinator to deliver curriculum through lectures and labs, and coordinate clinical training and supervision of course participants. The instructor will supervise students on units during clinical experiences and must be a Registered Nurse with relevant teaching qualifications or demonstrable teaching experience in adult education. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with at least one year of nursing-home experience
- Ability to teach adult learners as evidenced by: (a) professional teaching course or NYSED teacher certification; or (b) two-year experience teaching nursing or nursing-related programs to adults in an approved academic setting; or (c) two years of teaching nurse aides in a residential health care facility.
