Job Summary
CNA Program Instructor (NATP) needed to collaborate with the Program Coordinator on curriculum presentation, teach lecture and lab content, coordinate clinical training, and supervise students on units during clinical experiences in a NY nursing facility setting.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least one year of experience in a nursing home
- Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners as evidenced by at least one of: completion of a professionally recognized course in teaching adult learners, or NYSED teacher certification, or two-year experience teaching nursing or nursing-related programs to adults in an academic setting approved by the state education department, or two years of experience teaching nurse aides in a residential health care facility
