Job Summary
Receive nursing report and assist residents with bathing, grooming, hygiene, and adaptive equipment placement. Explain procedures before administering care, keep residents dry by changing gowns and linens, and change bed linens to avoid wrinkles. Make beds for both occupied and unoccupied residents. Requires State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program completion with registry standing.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program
- Name must appear on State Registry as Nurse Aide in good standing
- Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff
- Must have the ability to read and write
