Job Summary
CNA - Primary Care Tech (Nights) delivers patient-centered care in the PCU under the supervision of the RN and charge RN. Responsibilities include admitting patients, recording vital signs, I&O, and measurements; assisting with AM/evening care, mobility, meals, and rounds; supporting discharge planning; collecting specimens; applying universal precautions; plus environmental duties such as equipment care and room readiness. Requires current Wyoming CNA license or Wyoming EMS provider license or WY Paramedic license, BLS at hire, CPI within 6 months, and effective communication. The role emphasizes collaboration with the RN and interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs during night shifts in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed an accredited CNA or Emergency Medicine Technician or Paramedic course
- Must have a current Wyoming CNA license or WY EMS provider license or WY Paramedic License
- Current BLS at time of hire
- CPI certification within 6 months of hire
