Job Summary
Conduct preoperative and post-anesthesia care unit duties at Southpoint Surgery Center, managing patient transitions and surgical support in a multi-specialty ambulatory facility. Maintain accurate medical records and utilize computer systems while adhering to established deadlines and organizational standards. Handle stressful situations with tact and demonstrate accountability in a welcoming, team-oriented environment. Requires CNAI certification, BLS certification, and at least one year of experience in a hospital or surgical center setting. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- documented certification as a nursing assistant
- CNAI certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- AHA or ARC accredited course certification
- At least one (1) year of previous experience in a hospital based or ambulatory surgical center
- Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines
- Able to make sound reasonable decisions
- Highly organized
- Ability to concentrate on many detailed requests despite numerous interruptions
- Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness; is receptive to change, and exhibits creativity and innovation
- Ability to identify and calmly handle inherently stressful situations with tact
