Job Summary
Provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents per assessment and care plan; administer treatments and monitor changes in residents’ condition; document accurately on flow sheets and charts; maintain confidentiality of resident information; assist with daily living activities, meals, and mobility; ensure resident safety, cleanliness, and comfort; coordinate with Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse and other staff; observe for skin issues, report injuries, and help prepare residents for exams and transfers; uphold facility policies, HIPAA, and care standards; demonstrate compassion and professionalism in a post-acute care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess at least a 10th grade education (high school equivalency)
- Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state laws
- CPR certification preferred
