Job Summary
Provide direct, one-on-one care to medically fragile individuals and their families. Perform activities of daily living including bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, bolus feeding, catheterization, and oral/nasal suctioning. Conduct range of motion activities and administer oxygen. Maintain a 1:1 patient care ratio while documenting care as directed. Work flexible and predictable full-time or part-time shifts with full clinical support available day or night.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Aide I or II certification
- TB test
- current CPR
- valid state identification
- at least 18 years of age
- good emotional health
- physical ability to tolerate much standing, bending and lifting within guidelines and teaching provided by the state
- ability to read and follow written instructions
- ability to document the care as directed
- cooperative attitude toward providing services
- ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- ability to make a positive and lasting impression
