Job Summary
Provide direct, one-on-one care to medically fragile individuals and their families, including activities of daily living such as bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing. Perform range of motion activities and document care as directed while maintaining a 1:1 patient care ratio. Work flexible and predictable full-time or part-time shifts with full clinical support available day or night. Maintain physical ability to walk, lift, bend, and kneel within state guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid PA Certified Nursing Aide
- Proof of completion of an approved 75 hour Home Health Aide Certification Course
- Copy of TB test
- Current CPR
- Valid state identification
- Must displace good emotional health
- Physical ability to tolerate much standing, bending and lifting within guidelines
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Ability to document the care as directed
- Demonstrate a cooperative attitude toward providing services
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to walk
