Job Summary
CNA/PCT position in ICU, PRN. Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients under supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include admission/transfer/discharge support, patient safety, documentation, and effective communication with the care team. Requires completion of a CNA program and current BLS certification; strong emphasis on patient safety and teamwork in a hospital ICU setting. Located in Clarksville, AR. This is a PRN role with duties aligned to the nursing assistant scope of practice and aligned to pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations.
Required Qualifications
- Regulatory Requirements: Preferred High School graduate or equivalent
- Successful completion of certified nursing assistant program
- Current BLS certification
- Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Additional languages preferred
- Skills: Basic computer knowledge
- Physical Demands: Mobility, sight, hearing, verbal communication, changes in temperature, exposure to disagreeable elements, exposure to biological, mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards. Frequent standing and walking. Lift up to 100 pounds. Carrying up to 40 pounds. Pushing/pulling up to 450 pounds.
