Job Summary
Provide resident care services in Assisted Living areas under the supervision of the Resident Services Director, maintaining a positive physical and social environment. Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, while keeping proper records of care and documenting all services provided. Approach all encounters with residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner and work closely with Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care. Promote a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors while supporting neighborhood programming and operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year related health care experience
- In any Community with an Ensemble Program, applicant must successfully complete required dementia training
- Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening
- Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in CPR and first aid
- Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) in good standing with the state licensing or certifying agency
- Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems
