Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including turning, ambulating, delivering food, and providing personal hygiene support. Monitor and record food intake, urinary, and fecal output while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Deliver adjunct care such as ice packs and dressings, and utilize infection control precautions for all activities. Demonstrate knowledge of fire and emergency procedures and report safety violations. Work 1st and 2nd shifts, rotating every other weekend, with full-time or part-time options. Required Qualifications
- Passion for the senior population
- High School diploma or GED
- State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
- The ability to think and work independently, with direction from a team leader or manager, while maintaining efficient and consistent communications at all times
- Must also have excellent oral communication skills when speaking with other health professionals in the presence of residents (i.e. "bedside manner")
- Can endure high-pressure situations in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and keep a calm, professional demeanor throughout
- Must be able to work every other weekend
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association) preferred
