CNA Patient Care Assistant

Provide direct, compassionate hands-on support to patients by performing personal hygiene care, assisting with activities of daily living, and taking vital signs. Monitor and document patient intake/output, collect specimens, and maintain patient rooms while transporting patients and equipment. Prevent pressure sores through turning schedules and facilitate restorative care including ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises. Report any changes in patient condition, behavior, or unusual incidents immediately to the nurse in charge and assist with interventions as directed. Requires one year acute hospital experience, a California CNA license, and AHA BLS certification.
